My best friend and I believe his house is haunted, what do we do?

So me and my friend have known each other for 6 years. Im almost 16 and hes almost 18. We sat down and discussed our thoughts on everything, and some wierd similarities in our experiences sleep for example,if we sleep on our left side facing away from the wall/back of the couch,we get vivid nightmares of things attacking us. Another issue, about a year back, everyone was asleep and both me and Phill woke up at the same time and we met each other at the couch to watch tv together. then when we muted the tv due to a noise, from his basement we hear loud banging against the door along with deep squealing and monotone growling. This went on for an hour, and we sat there too petrified to move, and then it went away. We dont know what to do,and we actually fear sleeping sometimes.

I lived in a haunted house. It may not be your imagination. You will probably have to live with whatever is going on in your house until your parents move or you move out. I can tell you this, however, never try to contact the spirits that may live there! Never use a ouija board! You can open up portals you don't want to open!!! Not all spirits are nice. Don't provoke them in any way and don't talk about them in your house. They hear everything you say. Try to go about you life as normally as possible.

First, you should talk to his parents about your suspicions. Then, you can try and get rid of the ghost by asking a local priest or exorcist. Here are some tips on what to do http://www.wikihow.com/Get-a-Ghost-out-of-Your-House.

by believing in ghosts you open yourselves up to nightmares Noises that would otherwise seem normal become scary if you think ghosts exist. Your house isn't haunted its just your mind playing tricks on you.
