Can you buy a birthday cake from publix bakery with ebt?

yes you can in many stores buy not just cake mixes but whole prepared cakes, ice cream and even prepared foods that are not served hot. social services decided that it wasn't fair to limit what people could buy for their enjoyment in the way of foods to improve quality of life. you can use the food stamps in grocery stores, costco, trader joes and more. but not in a free standing bakery where they specialize.

I don't think you can buy a birthday cake from publix bakery with EBT. Neither can you buy them with food stamps. However, you can try Walmart's Bakery. I think they will let you pay with EBT.
