How do you write a poem for someone special, but you don't exactly know them personally.

To write the poem, you need to think about what you want to achieve by writing the poem to help you come up with a theme easily. You could also use your imagination and description to write about the special person. For more details, check out http://www.wikihow.com/Write-a-Poem.

Thanks. I will look at that. I have started on one already. I am a good writer, but a little help is always good. I have been writing for the past 12 years or so. I have been told I should publish my stuff. What I have written is very sad and sweet so far. Maybe I can show you what it is to see what you think.

Say something about how they have influenced people they don't even know and how awesome it is to be able to do that.

No it does not sound creepy, just think of all the poems and songs written about "the king" (Elvis presely).
