mine has been doing that too. like every time i take a shower i has like a bunch of hair that falls out, almost enough to stop up the drain! Ive tried using different shampoo but it doesn't work. i think mine falls out because i use a flat iron on my hair,bu im not sure.
They have shampoos to help with that if your dyeing and straightening/curling your hair that would have alot to do with thinning hair I use to have massive hair not i can fit my hand around it in a ponytail I miss my super thick hair I'm constantly straightening it though so that's my problem :(
Sometimes thyroid can cause lots of hair lost. Nerves stress ect. First I would make sure I went and got a Dr to check my health out. Then if all is well then I highly recomend OJON hair care products. They make a restore shampoo and conditioner and also some other hair products that support your hair in many ways. They can be found on QVC cheeper than their web site. Just check out OJON and read the reviews. You will see. Hope all is well with you health wise. Hope this helps. PS: I use OJON products myself personally. They are WONDERFUL products. My hair is awsome since I've been using them.
Old age maybe setting in or you have abused your hair with hair color, too much sun, perhaps stress or diet maybe the cause. Certain med's can cause hair loss.
Their could be a medical problem going on. Many factors can cause hair loss. If you are concerned, talk to your Doctor. He will run some test to rule out any medical conditions and advice you on the best course of action to take to reduce your hair loss. I have heard that their is a excellent hair loss program at Cedars hospital towers. I can not think of their name, call Cedars they should know.
Mine has done the same thing. I have been told I have genetic female pattern hair loss. I use Nioxin shampoo from the salon, take a good multivitamin & fish oil supplements, & participated in a study about laser hair combs at the U of M, & now actually have one. They really do work well - my hair was twice as thick by the end of the study - but they sell for $500 or $600 online, so make sure you can afford it.
You will need to carry out regular massage on your scalp. This helps in increasing blood supply to the head meaning there is additional supply of nutrients to your hair strands. A healthy diet is important as well since it supplements the body. Check details on http://www.healthforworld.com/how-to-get-thicker-hair-naturally-2.
Flat ironing or straightening your hair does damage it. I'm not sure if it leads to thinning. Also, dyeing hair will damage it as well. The more you do it the more it damages. When I was younger my grandmother would always put my hair in braids. Everyday for quite a while, and she told me it was because it would help my hair become thicker.
