To remove nail polish remover from a wooden table, use a hot iron box and put a clean wash cloth on top of the stain and move the iron box in small circular circles on top of the wash cloth for a period of about one minute. Remove the cloth periodically to check on the progress. The heat from the iron box dilates the grain on the wood and at the same time, evaporates the nail polish remover.
