To delete photo albums off my iPhone 4, that has already been synod to my home computer, open the iTunes software then click on the "Photos" tab. Check the selected photo folder on your computer and open the sync photo directory. Delete all the custom made photo folders on your computer then click on "Apply" button to start syncing your iPhone. What you have deleted on your computer will be deleted on your iPhone.
Can anyone help me please I have two photo albums to delete witch are not on my pc no more to unsync with the iPhone 4 I have the latest version 5.1.1 and I can't delete the albums off or the photo's one by one hope some one has an answer for me :)
So what i did is a little confusing but what you do is pull it up like you want to sync more folders to your phone but instead do not click on a single folder. Then hit sync and it erased my folder that I no longer wanted.
Hi there, open iTunes and plug your phone, then click on your iPhone name. go tho photos top right and click it. then tick the box which says sync photos from pictures. underneath it check all folders and include video then sync simples
I was actually just having this problem and when I went back into "Sync photos from iPhoto" in iTunes, I selected "Selected Albums, Events...." In the pull-down menu, I chose "No Events." Because the Events are in albums, or vice versa, if you sync no events, it will remove them, and their albums from your iPhone! And you can follow this tips about transferring photo from iPhone to home computer. http://www.transfer-iphone-recovery.com/transfer-photo-from-iphone-to-computer.html
I am using an iPod Touch, but the answer probably is the same for an iPhone.
To delete a photo ALBUM that you created on the iPod Touch or iPhone, go to the screen that displays all the albums on the iPod Touch or iPhone. Tap the "Edit" button on the top right of the screen. The names of the albums should slide to the right and a minus sign "-" in a red circle will appear to the left of the album name. Only albums you created on the the iPod Touch or iPhone will have a minus sign. Tap the minus sign and the "Delete" button, and finally the "Delete Album" button.
Albums that you created on the PC or Mac can be deleted on the PC or Mac by deselecting them in iTunes.

Hello, I had over 250 photos, and finally found a simple solution - use image capture.
If you have a mac, and IMAGE CAPTURE apple program should be installed, (mine automatically pops up when plug in my iphone), choose OPTIONS ---> "Delete items off camera after downloading" and voila - you have downloaded all the pics to the folder of your choice, and the pictures are then deleted off the iphone! No itunes synching necessary! Great when you are at a friends house too. http://goo.gl/QKny3
1. Plug your phone into your computer and go to itiTunes Click on your phone in itunes under devices 3. Click the tab "photos" 4. If there is a check mark in the little box beside "sync photos from..." click the box so there is no check mark 5. If there is an "apply" button at the bottom right part of the screen click it. If not skip this step 6. Click on the tab "summary" 7. Click "sync" on the bottom right corner of your screen
Once the sync is complete unlock your phone, go to your Photo Album and Smile because it worked. This worked for me. Hope it works for you.
