The back of the Iphone is made totally different then normal cell phones; The Iphone is made entirely one piece, you would have to have it sent in to apple to have it taken apart. It's not as easy as other cell phones where you can take the back off and remove the battery. If you are asking this question cause you need to do a reset...the best advice is to hold down the power buttton and shut the phone totally off and then restart after about 10-15 seconds. Hope that was helpful.

Nope. If you want the back off, go to an Apple store. :)

The iPhone 4 has an easily removable back. Just unscrew the two screws on the bottom and slide off.
The 3GS on the other hand only allows the screen to be removed. You need to gut the phone to get to the back.

Can a sim card go n it

Apple switched screws mid-production of the iPhone 4. I have the standard phillips screws.

And the SIM card only requires a paper clip to open. It's on the top of the 3GS or the right side of the iPhone 4.

If it is the back cover then it does actually come off so that we can be able to put in the battery or change it once damaged. If you mean the whole back including the case that holds the battery, it should not come off and if it does take it your dealer as soon as possible to get it fixed for it means that its screws are loose.
