Would a Sidekick LX 2009 SHARP PV300 (unlocked) work with a prepaid at&t sim card?

i just want it for talk n texting

The unlocked cell phone is compatible with GSM carries like AT&T and can work well together. It can run on the 850/900/1800/1900 MHz GSM/GPRS/EDGE frequencies and won't do well with CDMA carriers like Verizon Wireless, Alltel and Sprint.
