Common cold is caused by a virus called rhinovirus....the reason we cannot fight this virus is that its genetic material is RNA (and not DNA like in humans, bacteria, etc) and thus it gets altered very quickly....so our immune system cannot fight it...however personal cleanliness can prevent this.Washing your hands frequently with a soap like dettol or lifeboy for atleast 30 sec will help reduce its occurence.
A cold virus enters your body through your mouth or nose. The virus can spread through droplets in the air when someone who is sick coughs, sneezes or talks. But it also spreads by hand-to-hand contact with someone who has a cold or by using shared objects, such as utensils, towels, toys or telephones. If you touch your eyes, nose or mouth after such contact or exposure, you're likely to "catch" a cold.
The most cause of the common cold is the rhinovirus, there are some others that rarely cause it but have the ability the coronavirus, human parainfluenza viruses, human respiratory syncytial virus, adenoviruses, enteroviruses, and metapneumovirus. But 80%-90% of the time it is caused by the rhinovirus.
I virus that is almost the same as the HIV virus and it can lead to the flu and numina, the cold in not curable because I is the starting point of many diseases and unless we can tell want you will get you can't be cured.
It is caused by a virus. It cannot be cured because there are too many forms. Over 101 cold viruses have been identified. Due to the rapidity of reproduction, the DNA contained in the cold virus is mutated due to mistakes. You never catch the same cold twice, unless you have a compromised immune system.

its caused by when your body is cold then your white blood cells the ones that fight the disease or virus go to help the body get warm but then the germs and viruses get in your body and the white blood cells are to busy trying to get the body warm that the germs and viruses invades your body and you get a cold or common cold hope this kinda helps
Colds are caused by a virus. NOT being out in the cold and/or rain. As others have said there is not a cure. It has to be treated symptomaticly. Please don"t take an antibiotic. They only work on bacteria.
