The term is said to come from a Monty Python skit where a guy is in a resteraunt trying to order something without SPAM in it and the waitress keeps repeating the word while a group of Vikings is chanting it until told to shut up. It's because it's something you don't want which is constantly being pushed on you. If you don't know the skit I am talking about I can't explain it you had to be there. It's funny. hhttp : //www.tempeltons.com/brad/spamterm. hthl I guess I don't know how to use my iPhone to share a link but that's where I got the info ( I'm an 80 yr. old creeper and not that computer savvy.)
there are 2 definitions of spam. The first definition is junk mail that keeps emails away that are fake such as "CONGRATULATIONS YOU WON A FREE IMAC!" The 2nd is this: Hi hi hi hi hi hi hi hi hi hi etc. Same word/thing over and over again.
