How do I exactly know that my MCL is torn?

I have pain everyday, when i walk, but i do not have bruises. It is very tender where the MCL is. any ideas??

You need to consider how you injured your knee and compare it to how MCL's become injured and then analyze your symptoms. Ensure that you decrease pain and swelling to allow diagnosis testing and you need to also visit a medical professional. MRI - go see an Orthopedic Surgeon.
