They don't. If you mean human rights abuses in China and other Asian countries, you need to protest that countries policies, not the U.S. As an aside, the only countries that actually protect the environment are the Western economies. Not China, not Russia, not India. If you have a problem, protest their countries, not the U.S.
Free trade agreements (FTA) threaten the rights to food, health, work and development, especially of vulnerable groups. FTAs create legal obligations on the government, affecting livelihoods in agriculture, fisheries and manufacturing. for instance, they would cut tariffs to zero for key sectors that support many producers, workers thus exposing them to highly competitive international markets. This results in a mentality similar to the U.S. of "cut the food with poison, we need to make more product to sell." An avalanche of economic plagues is sure to come for those trading with the U.S. We are an economic plague. We monopoly everything then cut poison into to make a profit. These countries we are seducing into FTAs, such a unsuspecting name, have no idea the implications and some have not even cut tariffs among their own community let alone to a corporate money mind. If not handled with the utmost care, and it rarely is, FTAs stand to ruin.
