I've been on some what of my period since April 5Th how do I know if I'm pregnant or not?

I'm on birth control shot and I've been on some what of my period since April 5 Th. I've been sick on and of for 2 going on 3 weeks. I took a test and it came back negative.

ive been on the birth control shot now for 7 years and its normal to feel sick from time to time and even bleed for weeks at a time...dont worry your not pregnant this is normal

@Nik...I live in Georgia and they took me off the shot after I was on it for 5 years because they said it can osteoporosis, so you may want to check that out also.

From what I was told every female has a different body and when they get pregnant their body's act different. I was also told that some females can bleed until they're fully pregnant. But I don't know how true that is.

You may want to go to the doctor and get checked about the bleeding because it's not good to loose a lot of blood like that

Try the Dr. but if you were prego the test should've said positive but you wouldn't be bleeding if you were prego.

I'm going to the Dr. to get checked as soon as my husband is able to pay for the appointment. Also from what I was told since I'm not suppose to get my period and since it's messed up it's hard to tell when I actually had my last period. Since I took the pregnancy test too early I was told that's why it was negative. So I have to wait another week to take the test again since I'm showing signs of being pregnant.
