Internal and External SoundCard.. Read more!

Will it cause issues if I have both??My Internal soundcard is running my surround sound system and my External has a wireless link to my headset.. I am experiencing a hum noise in my headset which doesn't go away at all, it is faint but still there.. could this be the cause?

If your headset is designed to accept both an external and internal soundcard, then the headset should not cause you any problem. The humming noise you are experiencing could be because of an issue with the headset and not the phone. You should take the headset to e checked by a technician and the phone as well just to be safe.

Sorry it isn't a phone but a normal 7.1 SS headset I use for gaming etc, the headset seems fine when the wireless connection is dropped
