Yes and no. JWs don't go to war and in general they are peaceable people. If there were only JWs in the world, we would have no war. They do have imperfections like everyone so they would not always be agreeable with each other. Here is my experience with my fellow believers. They come from all different backgrounds and personalities. When I clash with another one it is something that I and the other person can get past and forgive each other for. The Bible promises a time when the earth is free of the wicked and the righteous will live on earth for all eternity. And even then it will take a long time for people to reach perfection.
Even people who adhere to the same doctrines or religion don't think the same. People are different and so are their ways of thinking, so no, I don't think there would be peace even if everyone belonged to the same faith.
dAMN WHAT A QUESTION and i say no also - the world needs diversities though it can do without a lot of them -- plus that who would go around then banging on doors and inviting themselves in by the van full and not wanting to leave where you have to force them out --- LOL LOL
No religion is superior over the other. I agree that the door to door knocking we come to an end. It's true about not leaving, you have too push them out the door. How would they recruit new members, I agree being all one religion is Dumb. Would end up hurting each other trying too prove who is right and it was wrong.
if everyone was a Jehovah's Witness they world would know peace, love, friendship, goodness, learn the Sovereign Lord Jehovah God's name, not write the mean hateful, comments about killing, and knocking on doors, you see witnesses don't do that.. yes there would be worldwide PEACE. They are kind loving peaceful ppl.
If the entire world were baptists there would be more peace then there is now. The problem would be that there would be no questioning the system if one group, be it religious or political, took over. Would the world be better off, no, I feel if one group took total control it world result in tyranny and the result would be massive unrest.
It's possible. Another way to achieve peace would be if the world was full of mindless automatons who have all been brainwashed into believing the same thing and always do what they are told. But I wouldn't want to live in that world.
Absolutely not. Aside from previous answers, take a look at all the gay people who commit suicide b/c the religion they are currently involved in treats it as an abomination. How would mass suicide rates be peaceful?
No, because it would take less than a week for their to be 50 new sects of witnesses that disagree on how on worship jahovah. People will fight people until there is something else thats new to fight, like aliens or something.
No. They have many similar beliefs to those held by extremist & orthodox Christians that would grossly hinder universal peace, like: 1. Inerrancy & divine inspiration of bible 2. Virgin birth 3. Jesus as ransom for all humanity 4. Divorce as sin 5. Hating homosexuality & pre-marital sex 6. Opposition to abortion 7. Godlike power of Satan 8. Literal validation of creationist theory Many of these would present strong resistant from liberal & free people. Meaning, peace would be as distant as god. They do have some good & moral ideology those are surely rational, civic, tolerant & praiseworthy which most of the Christian creeds lack severely.
Yes. Although JWs are imperfect people, they try to follow Bible principles and this promotes peace among themselves. They refuse to fight in the world's wars and if everyone did this there would be no war at all.
I think if everyone in the world practiced their own religion with honesty and sincerity, there would be peace. It's all the little greeds, cheats and shortcuts that we all take that collectively contribute to the massive global corruption that prevents us all living in peace with each other.
