i've lived at both country and city. the city can be stressful and noisy and bright at nite. people are generally unfriendly not even knowing their neighbours. out here in the country its peaceful, relaxing and quiet.when i first moved out here i was struck by just how dark it is. i rarely have to draw my curtains unlike the city. i know all my neighbours and their children and have been blessed by their kindness when i needed them. the thing about the city , it seems is that its 24/7....so if you want a pizza at 4 in the morning...you can get it. in contrast, out here in the country....lol.. the nearest store and village rolls up their sidewalks at 10 PM.
Living in the city is a great experience since it is very easy to get around, and also everything you need is just nearby. Since cities have large gatherings of people in a relatively small area, there are added opportunities to meet people than in the suburbs.
it all depends on the size - the location - the crime rate per capita - unemployment rate -- -- i live in a Metro City but it is a relatively small one to me - we have a air force base and a state university - and it is not like the hustle and bustle say like New York city - it all depends what you like and are use to and can get use to or adapt to - i dont like big cities say like N.Y.C Orlando - Boston - L.A . to much noise - crime and filth but there good to visit and i dont like the heavy bumper to bumper traffic -
