How many people really believe the world is going to end this year?

I find this to be so absurd... Ok the Mayans made a colander saying the world will end on a certain day,,, big whoop do you see any Mayans around... Neither do I,,, someone mistranslated something right...

The Mayan calendar says it will end on December 21, 2012. The Mayans died before Caesar implemented the leap year, which means that, if they were still alive, their 12/21/12 would have already passed. Only God knows when the world will end, and honestly, I think that humans will just kill each other until there are none left first.

Okay first of all, the Mayans did not necessarily predict the end of the world. they just abruptly stopped making their calendars for whatever reason. and as history should tell you, many people from many different backgrounds have predicted the end of the world multiple times through history and we are all still here.

many sy the reason the calendar stops is because the mayans were destroyed there for leaving none to continue the calendar
