The sky is blue as a result of Rayleigh scattering. As light moves through the air, the shorter wavelength light is absorbed by molecules. The absorbed blue light is then spread in all directions and it spreads around the sky. For more details, check out http://spaceplace.nasa.gov/blue-sky/.

The sky is blue because when the sun reflects on the atmoshere there is all different colors but the color blue is the most there
