I'm having a hard time staying awake. Please read details.

I tried drinking caffeinated drinks and moving around a lot, but I'm still sleepy. What should I do? Please don't say something like "go to bed early" b/c that won't help. Thanks!

Take a 10 minute nap, followed by an apple or tart fruit of choice. If you continue to feel tired with a full nights sleep after several days, I strongly recommend you see a doctor.

If you aren't eating enough carbs try to eat some. Many people think they'll make you gain weight but it's if you eat too much. Carbs are a leading source of energy.

No recommending drugs is not a solution. Especially using other peoples meds. A doctor visit is safe, using other peoples drugs is not

Eat healthier, like snacks, and less caffeine because it doesn't really help you. Going to sleep earlier will also help.

Try not to sit down or relax don't drink or eat anything because when you're full you tend to want to sleep. You might want to invite a friend over and have some fun. When you're active and have some fun you won't want to sleep and afterward you'll probably think about the fun you had for awhile and won't sleep until you're bored.

Even though you feel you are getting enough sleep, you might not be getting a restful sleep. For that, a doctor would do a sleep study to figure out the problem. If you don't want to do that, regular exercise should make you sleep more soundly. Also, a doctor would draw blood to see if you are deficient in certain vitamins (which would make you lack energy). If you don't want to do that, you could try a multi vitamin (one that is appropriate for your age). Bloodwork will also show if you are anemic or if you have limes disease (either could make you tired). There could be other reasons too, so it's best to see a doctor before anything else. Good luck.
