How can I stop the squirrels from digging out my potted flowers outside?

You can try covering the plants with cayanne powder. That might work. Or a rifle

Take cheap foil plates and cut them to fit around the stem of the plant. They keep the moisture in and the squirrels don't like the way foil feels.

The squirrels are eating the yummy roots of your plants. I actually MOVED to get away from squirrels and STILL have nightmares about them!!! We tried traps, we tried coyote urine to deter them-they will figure out a way! They even invaded my attic and I swear they were laughing at me as I tried to get rid of them. Just make it your mission in life to outsmart them, because believe me their mission in life is to outsmart you. You want them GONE by any means necessary and you can take that how you want...
