How dangerous is watching a partial eclipse, as in the one we can see on May 20th?

Report as

Watching the partial eclipse of the sun can be dangerous because the solar eclipse is not clear enough to the earth to produce a total solar eclipse thereby the sun is obscured and your eyes become strained. The small ring of the sun surrounding the disk of the moon carries damaging effects which spoil the viewer's pupils or visual sensitivity. It is however advised to use eye safety goggles. Watching the eclipse directly is dangerous to your eyes. However you can watch the eclipse by filling water into a large container and look into it and you can see the completion reflection of the eclipse. Have fun.
