How do I convince my parents fast

So my middle school is having a dance this Friday and I asked my mom if I could go and she said "I was just waiting for you to ask me something like that just so I could say no you haven't been doing your chores very well lately" And later on that day she's been acting really mean for no reason. And my dads just sitting back and watching. I'm so angry beyond belief.

Obviously you've been slacking on your chores and she's mad. Too late to do anything about it this time. Do your chores the way they're supposed to be done and maybe next time she'll let you go.

I would suggest you hold yourself together and start performing the relevant duties required. Prove to them that you have changed and be sincerely sorry for your past behavior. Rebelling would only do you more harm than good.
