What should you do if your in love with your best friend?

I know this isn't what you want to hear but if he or she is in a good relationship or married, you should keep your distance and not spend time as much as you used to and eventually you'll fall out of love. But if he or she is single, go for it. Some of the best successful relationships started of as friends. And don't worry about the "friend zone", anyone can get out of it.

No, the worse that can happen is they feel so uncomfortable that they discontinue any kind of relationship.

I think you should be careful on how you handle this as it might end up being messy. You can try and joke about how cute a couple you would be to see their reaction. Another option is telling your best friend how you feel, and if they take it positively, your lucky and if they don't, well too bad. You can try and suggest you have feelings and see what happens, but if it seems it would destroy your friendship leave it at that. If it was me, I would tell my best friend and see how it goes, you can always try and fix things if they go bad.

My wife & I are best friends first. That makes bed-time (wink-wink) all the better.

tell your best friend before something bad happens you can always workout what to do but it may never be the same way it was before.

I think you should tell them but don't make it awkward just play it cool let them know and maybe they will feel the sane if they don't just tell them that it's okay that they just needed to know and things can go back to normal if u like.(:
