I am from Washington State and wants to join the Air Force Reserve, can i choose to be based in California? Travis Air Base?

if this is possible will they provide housing? thanks!

You can fill in a wish list to where you want to be based when joining the Air Force Reserve. The Air Force Reserve also provides accommodations for their troopers, especially those who have recently joined, the Privates.
