Some ways to help raise money for a funeral for a 15 year old is by putting together a benefit fundraiser that will raise money for the occasion. People who knew her and her family as well as school members will want to give a hand to donate for the expenses of the funeral. Consult the mother with your plans and keep records to confirm what you collect. Read more details at www.ehow.com/how_6192731_raise-money-cover-funeral-expenses.html.

Remember, its not my child, my daughter is in the hospital from the accident. It costs for the coffin (Sara doesnt want Maria Creamated) and that costs around $4,000 (Their family is very formal, and fancy) and much more expenses. Thats why.

depending on where you live there are drive through coffee kiosks who may do fundraisers associated with their coffee gift cards. see those managers. car washes. donation jars.spaghetti feeds and the local churches or school cafeteria. it is never easy to bury a child. funerals are very costly and the previous suggestion of a cremation is an option but still does cost just not near as much b/c you don't have coffin costs and crypt opening and closing fees. however; being a parent who has lost a child much too soon i did not want to have a cremation but could not afford a burial. this is a very difficult time for your friend and i wish I could be there to help, as a parent who truly understands and as a bereavement counselor from my life experience of losing children. I am thankful she has you to help her.she will be facing many stages in her grief progression and I pray for her strength and peace.if you have any questions you may feel free to ask me.God bless you.

You can set up a bank account for donations. Ask to work with the school district. I'm sure friends would help out. So sorry to hear. Such a young age.
