I got my first tattoo 3 days ago and it seems prices of ink are peeling off I'm not scratching or picking at it but what should I do?

When I got my tattoo, the tattoo artist told me that the tattoo area might turn into a scab that would fall off leaving the tattoo underneath it unaffected. He told me not to scratch it or pull off the scab. Mine did scab over and after it fell off the tattoo was fine. This may be what is happening to you. Call the tattoo artist and tell him or her what is happening. They can of course help you more then me. Just wanted to let you know what could be happening and that it's normal.

You should keep Vaseline or A&D ointment on it to keep it from drying out till it is healed.
