Tagalog is the correct term for Phillipiono, though I'm not sure what Ohnan is so I'm not sure. My sister is from the Philipines and i know some of it, but only like ten words because thats not her only launguage so we dont really need to depend on learning it to talk to her. She talks English and something else.
Hello. I am of Filipino decent and I personally believe the Tagalog language is hard to grasp if you don't try your best. I understand two Filipino languages, Ilocano and Tagalog, and the it is quite difficult especially when you try to speak with a fluent speaker like my mom or aunt. You just have to put in the time and effort. It will be difficult getting used to the language but, hey, if you truly want to learn a language you have to continuously apply words that you have learned. Have someone that understands the language and regurgitate the words to and see if you have spoken the words correctly. Good luck.
