Is it safe to go camping while your pregnant?

My friend thinks she can't go camping this summer because she's pregnant

My Mom was going down waterslides with me in her belly!! Camping should be.......a walk in the park :)

It is safe to go camping when pregnant. However, she should ensure that she is not about to give birth soon. Again, she will need to be more careful as the rest of you support her.

maybe she means she cant go camping because she would be uncomfortable.

I know sleeping on the ground can suck when you aren't pregnant so perhaps this is what she meant?

yes its safe but dont fall. and if its close to giveing birth than no.

My gut reaction (no pun intended) is to say no problem. However, you should always ask your OB doctor if there's any concerns at all. He/she is familiar with the patient and the specifics of the pregnancy.
