Arms over head increase heart rate

Raising the arms overhead produces a higher heart rate. This is by opening up the lungs and allowing a clean flow of air to be transported directly. It can be referred to as the pressor response according to International Fitness Assoc.

Also, heart has to pump harder to push the blood up your arms

Hands over your heart increase oxygen to the blood. Not sure how but it works for me try it.
