It is not right for a teacher to make students think badly of their work. The work of a teacher is to make sure that student's are positively motivated in all they do, this will help them have a spirit of reading more and more.

absolutely not. art is an expression of one's beauty not anyone else. just bear with her and know that your art work is exactly the way it is supposed to be today. school will be out soon.

I am sorry to hear your teacher is devaluing your work. He/she should be encouraging you, not criticizing you. Your teacher needs to create a relaxed environment for you to become inspired to do your best. Your creative ideas need to blossom, not to wither. You might try to meditate or do a relaxation exercise to get in a mellow mental state before you go to class.Try to think about what inspires you and what you think is beautiful, then try to to use the medium you want to express it. Focus on the positive, not the negative, and you'll be okay.

No. It is not. Why? Because she is supposed to be a teacher. An instructor. She was not hired to be an art critic. Could be she wants everyone to be as miserable, because she is. She's an Art teacher. Maybe she had aspirations of being the next Van Gogh, or Manet, or a real artist, making a living doing art. Not saying anything against all the GOOD art teachers out there...there's a lot of them. I had one. Actually, I had two. But most of the others were only teaching art, because their art was mediocre at best. They never wanted to teach. And they never learned to like teaching. So they tried making kids in their classes (me, included) to feel badly about their artwork.
It worked, too. If she starts in on you with her criticisms & puts your work down:
Tell her a REAL artist says your work is marvelous. And that you'll be famous one day.

Rich :)
