There are alot of websites and links I can go to for untethered jailbreak for iPod touch 5.1 but where is the one that actually works

The best website to go to and learn how to do untethered jailbreak is the Apple Support website. Go to http://www.apple.com/support/ and search for untethered jailbreaking for iOS5.1 and you will get the results.
