Homeschooling is hands down the best. Our public schools are good examples of accidents looking for some place to happen: Keystone Cops administrators and school boards; incapable teachers managed by aforesaid Keystone Cops. I speak as a former public HS English teacher and a grandparent whose grandkids are being home schooled and far outscore public school kids on standardized tests every time.
In my opinion, public is good as compared to home school. This is because, a student will get enough competition in school work, thus will work more hard. Again, he or she will meet different kinds of people and therefore know how to deal with each of them.
Personally I choose public school but be careful and do your research because the wrong one can end badly. You are going to find great points for both it just really depends on what you want for your child. Good luck.
Depends on the "student".....I (personally) think public because you get a taste of diversity & how to interact & live among society today, which is what you'll need to do when you become an adult, regardless of the schooling you get as an adolescent......
yea, yea home school is better or what every one else says its "SAFER" but really when is the kid ever gonna learn what the real life is all about i say home schooling is like lying to kids about what the real world is all about i went to public school all my life and i'm fine and i'm proud to say i'm drug free!!!
At home school, it's usually the mother teaching. No one knows a child better than their mother, teacher's degree or no.
You learn how to get along with your family better.
You don't have to ride a trashy bus with kids lowering your self-esteem all day.
You don't have bias plugged into your ear holes.
There aren't 30 different kids all being taught one belief and political view.
There aren't 30 different animals all trying to climb one tree.
The child is comfortable in their place of learning.
The child gets to ask questions and have them answered lovingly.
On the contrary to the stereotype that homeschoolers don't get to socialize, school time is school time, not talk time; and, you can make friends at sports practice, church, in the neighborhood, and many places more.
After all stated, know that I have no problem with public schoolers or parents who send their kids to public school; that's their choice. BUT, current American public school education is horrible and the teachers association pretends that they don't know why. If it were more cleaned up, there would be no issue.
Home school, Their is no need for (old school) with computers and lessons that can be taught from home. It would also put at least one parent back into the home and not in the work force.Parents and children can become family's again. Wages would go up for the one worker because 1/2 of the work force would not be working making higher pay cause of less workers. Saving would be huge for all no huge buildings to heat/cool / build/ update. Teachers would not be losing their jobs they would work from their homes online also. Children would be better taught and no bully's/drugs/peer pressure/gun shootings. Many schools right now have real police on duty everyday in the school. Gas savings on transportation. Friends ,yes right from your own neighbor and family no one needs more than 5 good friends. Sports and such would become small business like how dance and piano lessons are now if that is what a parent decided they wanted their child to do. This are just some good points to think about:)
