Yes obviously...Go to a doctor and get a check up. If you are under contract see if there is anything about being placed on maternity leave. I also suggest if he is treating you unfairly to call a teamster union local and set to organize. Joining a union was the second best thing I've done with my life.

Your boss can't make you do anything. Tell the jerk that you're 11 weeks pregnant and that you're not suppose to be lifting anything heavy.

you have a job requirement that you signed when he hired you. all you need to protect yourself and your baby is a restricted duty form from your OB stating no heavy lifting and put in a specific weight, etc. lifting above your head is not bad if not heavy b/c you need to work all your muscles to keep fit and it will keep your breast tissue supple as your milk ducts expand and you'll get less achy. pallet jacks usually roll easily but getting them started is hard b/c of the pulling and can be too much strain.be prepared to have a job positions compromise in mind so he doesn't let you go, like cashiering, bookkeeping, so forth. good luck and God bless on the little one!

If the job requires you to do what he is telling you to do, then you will need a doctors note. If their policy does not allow modified duty then you might have to take leave or quit. It is so hard to have kids these days! Just be careful and look out for what is most important for your baby!

All you need is a doctors note from your obgyn stating your "medical condition" and what work restrictions you should have and your boss and place of employment have to respect those restrictions and give you work you are able to do...even if it's light work. Don't continue doing this work without consulting your obgyn. All you need is that note.

You should not be lifting heavy objects. This can hurt you, or your baby. Speak to your doctor and get a valid excuse from having to do heavy lifting. If your boss does not accept your doctor's excuse seek a lawyer.

Yes it is definitely dangerous, what you need to do is let him know ur pregnant if he doesn't already know and if he does you need to take it higher up and with a witness present let him know you can not do what he's asking because of your pregnancy then next time u go to the doctor get a note
