How to Unlock This Lock

I have a lock on my suitcase and I've always known the numbers to unlock it, but when I put those numbers in today it didn't unlock. I'm thinking that I changed the passcode somehow but I don't know how to change it back. It's one of those locks that you have to put in 3 numbers to unlock. It's rectangular and it has three things that you have to turn to put the three numbers that make up your code. How do I open it or how do I reset the code? Please help me I leave in a few days and I need to open my suitcase. *Note* This is not a regular combination lock that you would see on a locker.

ALSO if you know the manufacturer contact them they may be able to help. AND A LOCK SMITH CAN OPEN IT WITHOUT TEARING IT UP. So if you look in the yellow pages of where you live you will find a lock-smith. They will not charge you much to open it. Also contact where they make keys in your town they may have an idea for you or be able to even open it. Good luck. I hope I helped you.

Usually you can not reset them unless they are open. You may have to get a bolt cutter and cut the lock off.

I just got it open a few seconds ago. Now I just need to figure out how to reset the code.

sometimes you stick a pin in the bottom, there is usually a hole in the bottom on the type that reset this way and hold it in while setting the numbers

Here is a link to another method, I know I used this one on one of my luggage locks and it was not Samsonite brand.

Use a bolt cutter or screwdriver

Before using bolt cutters, try every number since it is only 999 numbers. Also try 700. AlsoTry using ur old combination by changing one number at a time. i.e. If ur old number is 111 then try 112,113 etc then try 121, 131 etc. This is particularly useful when the combination changed accidentally.

I got it open a little while ago by accident. I changed the 2 in my code to a 3 and it clicked open.
