How do you get rid of a clogged ear?

I have a cold & my ears have been clogged, is there an easy way to get rid of it? & if i just want to let it go away on its own how long would that take?

You will clear a clogged ear by putting a few drops of sesame oil that has been heated in two garlic cloves. Allow the oil to settle for some time then hold a soft cloth over the ear, and lie down facing the ground. The best way to unblock ears caused by a cold is to fight the infection and treat the cold.

Jane, do you have some medical training? You sound like you do.

You might have an ear infection. See a doctor. It's not something you should ignor.

You can also buy some over-the-counter solution to put in your ear and then wash it out with a bulb syringe. It comes as a kit with everything you need. Just ask the pharmacist at any pharmacy and they can tell you what it's called and where it is. It works, too.

Hydrogen peroxide with eye dropper. Let it fizz for a few minutes. Rinse with warm water. Repeat if necessary.

Ok so I have horrible ear problems on planes with the air pressure taking off and landing. It hurts so bad and it sometimes takes 3 days to unplug. I get two cups and paper towels. I get the paper towels wet with warm water then put it in the bottom of the cup and I squeeze the two cupswith towels on my ears. I dunno if this works with colds but I works with air pressure. Sorry if it doesn't and I hope your ears get better
