Outlook 10 cannot open my .pst file. What gives? do I have too many emails? how many is too many?

The most likely reason for this is that your .pst file is damaged which makes it difficult for Outlook to open it. You can repair it though. All you have to do is go to http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook-help/repair-outlook-data-files-pst-and-ost-HA010354964.aspx and for all the instruction.

It must be .pst file corruption I would recommend you next way for resolving given issue http://www.outlook.fixtoolbox.com
