How do you get rid of back pain without icy hot or medicine? Also nobody rubbing your back?

I have pain in my upper back and I don't know why. :/ Help me!

You can use relaxation, imagery, distraction, as well as skin stimulation to get rid of back pain. Relaxation normally relieves pain or keeps it from getting worse by reducing tension in the muscles. Read more on www.hospicenet.org/html/without_meds-pr.html.

Sit,or lay,on your back with a pillow supporting your arch...stretching also helps.

There's a piece of equip. That allows
you to hang up side down. I know two people who own one and both had bad back problems. Now they don't even need to see a chiropractor. Use once or twice a week. No more back pain.

Warm bath. Chiropractors are not as scary as they seem. May I ask why no rubbing? I get stress knots and to get the individual areas kneaded helps tremendously. There are many stretches. What part off your back does it originate from?
