Dns server not responding?

the DNS server isnt connecting with microsoft...thats what it says when i troubleshoot the connection problem its with everything in the house that requires internet it just started happening this week and it goes away every 10-15min untill i restart my router the signal strength is high but it goes to local only this is with everyones laptop/desktop/xbox idk why this just started out of no where...

I think the DNS server does not respond due to incorrect settings. Click on "Start" and input NCPA.CPL and then press enter. Right click on the connection and choose "Properties". Select "Internet Protocol Version 4 and change the preferred DNS server and then click on "OK" once the modification is complete.
