How many days of school can you miss till they give you truancy or fail you for the whole year
If a student fails to attend school for three days in a four week period or 10 days in a six- month period, truancy is filed. This applies to unexcused absence from one class, several classes or the entire school day. Visit http://www.ehow.com/info_8776837_criminal-truancy-laws-texas.html for more information.
I'm not sure. I have a friend who missed a day or two every week and he still passed.
i say atleast 2 weeks staright at the most.
I think it's 18 for the year
Not sure what your school policy is but I had 32 unexcused absences in the first quarter 11th grade. My school does it you can miss all the days you want but after you audit and go below 65 average you fail,if you stay above 65 it doesn't matter
In Texas if you miss more than eight days, then you can't get credit for that/those course(s), for that semester
I missed like 40 days in 7th grade and only got a warning letter once. I passed (with straight A's, I might add). I think they base how many days you can miss on your behavior and performance
