What does this equation mean? C(H2O)
I missed a day of Biology and all I know it has something to do with glucose and carbohydrates
C (H2O) is a chemistry abbreviation meaning one carbon atom, two hydrogen atoms, and one oxygen atom. It is also known as formaldehyde and it is the simplest aldehyde which is also a pure substance.
From what I understand, that has nothing to do with glucose and carbohydrates. It is formaldehyde.
1 carbon 1 hydrogen 2 oxygen
