How do I keep myself from eating?

Im going to try to lose weight by fasting because my graduation is coming up and my mom got me a dress that's too small and I can't get a new one. Don't try to talk me out of it cuz im doing it. I like can't help myself... I always think to myself that I souldnt keep eating but I do!! And I can't stop! I always over eat... HELP

Try to eat healthy foods, ( i have the same problem as you) i mean like what are you going to do. When you think about eating just go do something else to keep your mind off of things and instead of watching a half hour of tv go outside and walk around the block a few times. WORTH A SHOT :)

Seriously? Who greened this?? When you are hungry, EAT! Don't divert your attention to something else. That's what I use to try to do to keep from eating.

Eat diet foods and not as much of them. Eat fig newtons cuz they r yummi

Try some dry fruits, fresh vegetables or nuts if you are hungry and like to eat.

Simple. Drive a car while drunk, go to jail, where you will have smaller meal portions.

Eat healthy, and stay active and you'll be fine! I'm sorry but I am going to try to talk you out of it because I've had an eating disorder where I felt guilty when I ate and tried to starve myself and oh my goodness it's not worth it! Eat apples, oranges, fruits, vegetables, yogurt, ect. Just be balanced and eat healthy. We eat to survive, it's our fuel to have energy and is what keeps our body going. Continue not eating and you are slowly killing yourself. It's an addictive habit that will send you to your grave. Get help please!

And I might I add, we all come in different shapes and sizes and sometimes clothes run funny. Talk to your mom to get you a new dress. Your dress is suppose to fit you not you fit your dress

Anorexia isn't something you should consider.. It's dangerous! The best way is to exercise an eat healthy balanced meals! If you want to try something I've been drinking this herbal tea after every meal it's a natural tea that is supposed to help you burn fat

well i hate ti burst ur bubble but i had the same problem and im still having the same problem cause my gratuation is in about 2 weeks but u cant lose more then 2-5 pounds in a month but i already lost bout 3 pounds in a week and just do a bunch of sit ups rite b4 u go to sleep and rite b4 u wake up and also if u cant hungry put some ice in ur mouth tht should help:)

Fasting is a terrible idea. Just stay away from the junk food and get some will power. Trust me if you are worried about over eating and can't seem to stop you will fail at fasting. Put smaller portions on your plate and eat slower. I takes 10 minutes for your mind to let your body know that you are full.

Or just eat tons of tangerines/mangerines or berries. They are low in fat, in season, and taste like candy!

Don't think of it as a diet. Because they suck ! Just eat healthy. When your hungry eat a fruit, or yogurt. Maybe some brown rice. I eat brown rice and it makes me way fuller because of the fiber in it. Also eating vegetable. Just eat a healthy life style and work out 2hrs at least 3 times a week

I work out 4-5 days a week 2 hours each and I still can't lose anything!! And I try to eat healthy but my dad buys all this junk food and that's all that's there!!

You have to set your mind on not eating it. I know its hard. Believe me I'm living it. But you have to let him know that your trying to loose weight n him buying all of that isn't good
