Should i be worried if my dog snorts, then gags up her own spit?
she is a toy poodle and is 4 pounds and 6 years old
Thats common in bulldogs and pugs but I've never heard about it in poodles so i would be a bit worried i'm not sure what would cause this but if it continues i would take her to the vet.
In most cases, a dog makes such a noise if it is under indignation or incredulity. Gags are caused by a choke and it would be advisable to have a vet give it a thorough check up.
