They would prefer you not engage in illegal activity as well. Inviting your friends over to, oh, say, cook up a batch of meth, would be frowned upon. It would also probably result in a visit be the local SWAT officers as well. Having a kegger with the freshman basketball team from Lincoln High School? Not cool either.
Behave like a guest, and have your guests do the same and you won't have problems.

You can have visitors in your Motel room after you have rented there is no problem. After renting the room you are entitled to do whatever you want in it, as long as you don't break, or steal anything from the room.

The things I have done at motels, I wish I could tell you, but I am not sure about the statute of limitations on such things. Let's just say they know that everyone won't be a model citizen like NeighborLady, so they do try to keep an eye on people they think might be trouble makers :) But yes, visitors are allowed :)

I know from my experience as a non-model citizen and Rolling Stones Roadie what goes on in motels/hotels. Have we met? :)

Roadie for the stones huh? Well no matter what I've done, I bet those stories just obliterate mine!! :)

They would if they were true! But they aren't, of course! I did used to live with a band though. That was crazy enough.
