Would it be legal to sell the phone numbers/info of prospective roofing customers who keeping calling me (i have a roofer's old number)?

how would i propose this sale to a local roofing business?

A better way to do it would be to arrange with a reputable roofer whom you feel confident in recommending to get a fee for each referral. Next time someone calls looking for a roofer, you give them this new roofer's number and tell them to let him know you referred them. This way, you aren't violating anyone's privacy, and you may get paid for your inconvenience. Otherwise, I suggest changing your phone number.

I think it is not legal to sell the phone numbers and information of prospective roofing customers. You may be taken to the court for revealing this information. You need to read the terms and conditions provided together with the roofer's number you have before taking any action.
