What can I take for acid reflux that won't counteract my thyroid hormones?

I take my thyroid hormones at night, so I can't take anything with calcium (i.e. tums) after 6:00pm. is there any antacid that doesn't contain calcium?

An antacid you can take for the acid reflux is Mylanta. It neutralizes stomach acid and provides a fast-acting relief in mild or in isolated cases of acid reflux. You can also take oral suspension medicines like pepto bismol and carafate. However, before you take them you should always get an advice from your doctor.

I prefer Pepcid and it hasn't had an effect on my thyroid meds. But I take my thyroid in the morning.
