According to scientist the sun is approximately 4.76 billion years old--how they know is a mystery to me

Well, the Earth is 4.6 billion years old, so the sun must be about the same age, maybe a bit older.

The Bible says that God made the universe and everything in it in 6 days about 6,000 years ago. He made the sun, stars, and planets on day 4 so it's about 6,000 years old.

Scientifically, the sun is not less than 13.7
billion years old
