How long does it take to get DNA results from a burglary

Not to be too discouraging, but unless the Crown Jewels were stolen and lives were lost in the process, they most likely aren't going to be running DNA checks. There are thousands of Rape Kits from active rape cases waiting to be processed in this country that don't get done due to lack of money and lack of lab resources. If violent crimes against people aren't a priority, crimes against property aren't going to stand much of a chance. Good luck though, I hope you get justice.

Processing DNA takes weeks usually. It depends on the urgency and how many other DNA samples from other cases need to be processed before it.

I did a DNA test from a store and it take like 3 weeks.

DNA from a crime is different then processing DNA from a paternity test
