How do you set things straight with your dad when he's pissed off at you?

We got into a fight last night and he decided not to talk to me, I'm not aloud to leave the house either

let him or yourself calm down a little, if its been more than 1 day one of you need to be the better person, and bring it up. if you yelled at him, or he disagreed, apologize, and agree. smile me happy, try not to be mope dope

The silent treatment is a bit juvenile for a man your father's age, I would say. If he won't speak to you, continue to speak to him just as if he was answering you. It should prove to him which of you is the bigger person, and shame him into behaving like an adult. Only then will you be able to sit down and discuss things calmly.

I allow him to throw tantrums and wait til he kools off tell him you love him and explain that those weren't your intentions
