Is there another way of getting your anger out instead of slamming doors and stuff?

I'm not allowed to slam doors so sometimes I get really mad at someone, and I wanna punch him or her... I don't wanna be violent so any other ways to get your anger out?

Yes, there is, you just have to find the best way of calming yourself. Video games help me calm down. Try to find the best way for you. (Except for slamming doors)

When you get angry you need to channel that energy and adrenalin. You can run or jog in place, don't stop until your exhausted. Go for a fast walk around the block. anything to release the energy.

you could slam a pillow instead. you could find something to rip that needs to be ripped.

Leave the house and leave the door open that will be enough revenge. Then go for a walk to sort it out. Anger is a result of frustration in not being able to control someone else. But the truth is you DON'T have control of anyone but yourself. You need to understand that this is true today, tomorrow, when you are married, when you have children, and for the rest of your life. Once you accept that you are not in control of anyone but yourself, you will understand that anger can get you in a lot of pain and trouble and nothing you were were angry about will change, but your happiness could, because of your anger and the way others deal with it.

You can beat the crap out of an old stuffed animal, or your pillow. You can also scream into your pillow. It helps.

Anger comes from being frustrated that no one is listening or you are not getting the results you need.

Next time you are angry, take a walk to calm yourself down and when you get home, write down why you feel angry and what you need.

Then, go back to the person you were angry with and calmly talk to them about what you need.
