How do you keep from having a meltdown

I have soo much going on at the moment and I can't handle it much longer. it's like a nightmare I can't wake up from. please help! in the past when I have my big meltdowns it never ends up good nor safe

when u feel like things r not goin well. step back for a moment and take a deep breath. call someone and just chat it up u can tell the person what is wrong if u want but the idea is to help u get bast that moment. some one who can make u laugh and feel good. take care :)

Make time for yourself. You like singing/writing songs? Express every little feeling you have on a piece of paper. Paper is the best way you could get answers, because it doesn't talk back. :) Surround yourself with people who make you forget about the bad things in life. Don't "relapse" on persons who have hurt you, or still do. Plan your day, that way you'll get less confused and feel less suffocated. Scream into your pillow, kick against your wall, there's no limit in expressing your feelings. Sometimes, talking to someone just doesn't work, and listening to what you said, you're past the point of talking. I've been in your situation, and you're right, when you experience a breakdown/meltdown, it NEVER turns out good. Only way to prevent yourself from having a meltdown, is making sure there isn't feelings/thoughts brewing inside of you... Find an outlet. Create yourself some rules, boundaries, like "If Jimmy lies to me just once more, i'll break off the friendship." yeah, stupid example, but you get the point.

Take a couple of your girlfriends, pack some lunch and head to the park. blow off the whole day there just chilling out in the fresh air. You will feel refreshed and better able to handle all the things going on in your life. Hang in there.
